Telemenia won the international tender for the construction of a power station in the Republic of Gabon in West Africa.

 This is the second tender for the construction of a power station which the company has won in the country. In 2009, Telemenia Ltd was selected by the Government of Gabon in order to promote the initiative to expand the electric power capacity of the Country.

The Port Gentil power plant, which will be constructed in two phases of 52.5MW, will be dual fuel power station-Natural Gas and Diesel fuel, will produce 105 MW of electric power for the industrial city of Port Gentil. The plant will employ a team of 200 workers from the local community .

The project is expected to be completed in record time of 13 months.
